Music Video Competition – Terms & Conditions

Promoter: Viewpoint Pictures

Eligibility:

• Open to solo artists, bands, or musical acts aged 18 or over.

• Entrants must reside in [your country or specify your region].

• All genres welcome.

• By entering, participants confirm they own the rights to the song submitted and have permission to use all included material.

Entry Rules:

• To enter, participants must:

  1. Follow @yourhandle on Instagram.

  2. Share the competition post to their story and tag @yourhandle.

  3. Submit their chosen song via email to [email address in bio], with the subject line: Music Video Competition Entry.

• Only one entry per act is permitted.

Competition Period:

• The competition opens on [start date] and closes at midnight on [end date] (total 45 days).

• Late entries will not be accepted.

Winner Selection:

• After the closing date, Viewpoint Pictures will review all submissions and select one winner at its sole discretion based on creative potential, suitability for a video production, and alignment with our production capabilities.

• The winner will be contacted directly via email and/or Instagram DM within 14 days of the competition closing.

Prize Details:

• The prize is a professionally produced music video, created in collaboration with Viewpoint Pictures.

• The production includes: filming, camera work, editing, color grading, and technical post-production.

• The prize does not include: casting actors, hiring models, locations that require rental fees, props, set design, wardrobe, hair & makeup, or any third-party costs.

• Any additional creative elements beyond the technical production will be the responsibility of the winner to organise and fund.

• Travel and accommodation costs for the artist are not included, unless otherwise agreed.

• The final video will be delivered digitally.

Rights & Usage:

• The winning artist retains full ownership of their song and performance.

• Viewpoint Pictures retains the right to use the final video, as well as behind-the-scenes footage and stills, for promotional and portfolio purposes (website, social media, showreel, etc.).

• The artist is free to use the video for their own promotional purposes.

Other Conditions:

• No cash alternative will be offered.

• The prize is non-transferable.

• Viewpoint Pictures reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition if necessary.

• By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
